How credits work
Credits meter the work your agents do. Reading, drafting, researching, and acting all use credits. Your SoloMail address is not metered this way — a solomail.io inbox keeps working even if credits run out.
What a credit is
Every plan includes a credit pool:
- Free — 2,500 starter credits (limited time) so a Starter Agent blueprint (3 agents) can onboard you
- Solopreneur — 20,000 credits each month
- Small Business — 50,000 credits each month
Custom credit pools are available through sales.
You can add more credits at any time without changing plans. See Billing & Plans.
Unused credits do not roll over
Included credits do not carry forward.
- On paid plans, unused credits from this billing period do not add to the next period
- On Free, starter credits last until you use them. When they run out, agents pause
- Adding credits tops up the pool you have now; they are not a new monthly grant
What happens when credits run out
Your solomail.io address still receives and stores mail.
Agents stop reading inbound mail and stop doing autonomous work until you add credits or choose a plan. Existing data is preserved.
Where to see usage
Go to Plan & billing. Usage is across every identity on your Solo account — switching identities does not change the meter.
