Email Settings
Configure how SoloMail handles your emails. Control email preferences, agent behavior, and notification settings.
Accessing Email Settings
Go to Settings → Email to configure:
- Email preferences
- Agent behavior
- Filters and rules
- Notifications
- Signatures
Email Preferences
Default Behavior
Configure default email handling:
- Auto-process: Automatically process incoming emails (requires active Inbox Manager)
- Auto-reply: Send automatic replies (if configured)
- Auto-archive: Archive emails after processing
- Auto-categorize: Automatically categorize emails
Email Format
Choose email format preferences:
- Rich text: HTML emails with formatting
- Plain text: Simple text emails
- Auto-detect: Use format based on recipient
Signature
Set up email signatures:
- Default signature: Signature for your emails
- Agent signatures: Signatures for agent emails
- Variables: Use
{{agent.name}},{{identity.handle}}
Agent Behavior
Inbox Manager Settings
Configure how Inbox Manager handles emails:
- Processing mode: Automatic, manual, or selective
- HITL thresholds: When to escalate to you
- Response time: Target response times
- Auto-reply rules: When to send automatic replies
Agent Routing
Set up email routing:
- Route by sender: Send emails from specific senders to specific agents
- Route by subject: Route based on subject keywords
- Route by category: Route based on email category
- Default routing: Where to send emails that don't match rules
Agent Permissions
Control what agents can do:
- Send emails: Allow agents to send emails
- Create tasks: Allow agents to create tasks from emails
- Archive emails: Allow agents to archive emails
- Delete emails: Allow agents to delete emails (not recommended)
Filters and Rules
Email Filters
Create filters to organize emails:
- Filter by sender: Organize emails from specific senders
- Filter by subject: Organize based on subject keywords
- Filter by category: Organize by email category
- Filter by date: Organize by time range
Processing Rules
Set rules for email processing:
- Ignore rules: Don't process emails matching certain criteria
- Priority rules: Mark certain emails as high priority
- Auto-archive rules: Automatically archive certain emails
- Auto-delete rules: Automatically delete certain emails (use carefully)
Notifications
Email Notifications
Configure when to receive email notifications:
- Important emails: Notify for important emails
- Agent escalations: Notify when HITL is triggered
- Task creation: Notify when agents create tasks
- Replies needed: Notify when your response is needed
Notification Preferences
Set notification preferences:
- Email alerts: Receive email notifications
- In-app alerts: Show notifications in Solo
- Frequency: How often to receive notifications
- Quiet hours: Don't notify during certain hours
Spam and Security
Spam Filtering
Configure spam filtering:
- Spam detection: Enable automatic spam detection
- Spam folder: Where to put spam emails
- Whitelist: Always allow emails from these senders
- Blacklist: Always block emails from these senders
Security Settings
Email security options:
- DKIM verification: Verify sender authenticity
- SPF checking: Check sender authorization
- Phishing protection: Detect phishing attempts
- Attachment scanning: Scan attachments for threats
