Claiming Your Solo Identity
Your Solo Identity is your unique address in the Solo ecosystem — like yourname@solomail.io. This is where your agents live, your communications are unified, and your work happens.
What is a Solo Identity?
A Solo Identity is:
- Your unique address:
yourname@solomail.io— This is how the world interacts with you on Solo - Your workspace: Where all your agents and workflows live
- Your communication hub: Unified inbox for all your Solo communications
- Your operational address: The email address you use when you want operations handled by your agents
Important: Your Solo Identity is how people reach you and where you receive communications that you want handled by agents. If you don't want something handled by agents, you can use a different email address or configure your agents to handle specific inbound emails differently.
Claiming Your Identity
Step 1: Choose Your Handle
Your handle is the part before @solomail.io. For example, if you choose alex, your Solo Identity will be alex@solomail.io.
Handle Requirements:
- 3-30 characters
- Lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only
- Must start with a letter
- Cannot end with a hyphen
