1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Solo ("Service"), operated by Solo Work, Inc. ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Solo is an agentic operating system that provides:

  • AI-powered agents for email, chat, SMS, and voice communication management
  • Email processing and intelligent routing
  • SMS and text messaging capabilities (powered by Twilio)
  • Voice calling and phone-based interaction features (powered by Twilio)
  • Workflow automation and integrations
  • Agent orchestration that processes your communications across all channels
  • Team collaboration features
  • Identity and access management

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

You must create an account to use certain features. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Be responsible for all activities under your account

3.2 Account Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Send spam, phishing emails, or malicious content
  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
  • Collect user information without consent
  • Use the Service to harm, harass, or threaten others

5. Subscription and Payments

5.1 Subscription Plans

Solo offers both free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans provide additional features, storage, and capabilities as described on our pricing page.

5.2 Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • Payment is processed through Stripe
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method for recurring fees
  • Fees are non-refundable except as required by law

5.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access until that date.

5.4 Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after price changes constitutes acceptance of the new prices.

6. User Content

6.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service, including emails, agent configurations, and data. You grant us a license to use, store, and process your content to provide the Service.

6.2 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your content. We do not endorse or guarantee the accuracy of user content. You represent that you have all necessary rights to the content you submit.

6.3 Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, without prior notice.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, graphics, and code, is owned by Solo and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without our permission.

8. AI Agent Behavior & Data Processing

Solo uses artificial intelligence to power agent functionality across all communication channels. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated responses may not always be accurate or appropriate
  • You are responsible for reviewing and approving agent actions
  • We are not liable for actions taken by agents based on your configurations
  • You should enable human-in-the-loop features for critical decisions
  • AI processing requires us to collect and process your communication content, including emails, chat messages, SMS/text messages, and voice call data
  • Our agent orchestration system analyzes, routes, and may automatically respond to communications on your behalf based on your configured workflows and policies
  • Communication data (including content, metadata, and interaction history) is stored to maintain context, improve agent performance, and provide the services you have requested

9. Privacy and Data

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to our collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy. This includes the collection and processing of your communications (email, chat, SMS, and voice) through our AI agent orchestration system.

10. SMS & Voice Messaging Terms

The following terms apply to Solo's SMS (text messaging) and voice calling features, which are powered by Twilio.

10.1 Program Name & Description

Program Name: Solo Messaging
Solo Messaging enables AI-powered communication through SMS text messages and voice calls. When you opt in, Solo may send you transactional messages, service notifications, agent-initiated communications, appointment reminders, task updates, and other messages related to your use of the Solo platform and its AI agent features.

10.2 Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply to any SMS messages sent to or from your device. Solo does not charge for SMS messages, but your mobile carrier's standard messaging and data rates apply. Please contact your wireless carrier for details about your messaging plan and any associated fees.

10.3 Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your account activity, agent configurations, and workflow automations. You may receive multiple messages per day depending on your settings and the activity of your AI agents. You control message frequency through your Solo dashboard settings and agent configurations.

10.4 Opt-In & Consent

By providing your phone number and opting in to SMS communications, you expressly consent to receive text messages from Solo at the phone number you provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase or use of the Service. You may opt in through your Solo account settings or our SMS consent page.

10.5 Opt-Out Instructions

You can opt out of SMS messages at any time:

  • Text STOP to any message you receive from Solo to immediately stop all SMS communications. You will receive a one-time confirmation message that you have been unsubscribed.
  • You may also opt out through your Solo dashboard settings under the Communications preferences section.

10.6 Help & Support

10.7 Supported Carriers

Solo SMS messaging is supported on all major US carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and most regional carriers. Carrier support may vary by region and is subject to Twilio's network coverage.

10.8 Privacy & Data Use

Your phone number and messaging data are collected and used solely to provide Solo's communication services. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or messaging content with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS and voice services are provided through Twilio; see Twilio's Privacy Policy for information on how Twilio handles your data. For full details on our data practices, see our Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • Accuracy or reliability of information
  • Security or privacy of data transmission

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOLO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM:

  • Your use or inability to use the Service
  • Unauthorized access to your data
  • Errors or omissions in the Service
  • Actions of AI agents
  • Third-party content or conduct

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, or $100, whichever is greater.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Solo harmless from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of another party
  • Your content or agent configurations

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms.

Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
  • You remain liable for any outstanding fees
  • We may delete your data after a reasonable period
  • Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

17. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive your right to participate in class action lawsuits.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
