What are Default Workflows?
Solo's default workflows are:
- Pre-configured: Ready to use out of the box
- Automatic: Run without setup
- Optimized: Built for performance
- Tracked: Include usage monitoring

How It Works
Automatic Operation
Default workflows run automatically:
- Events occur: Email received, task created, etc.
- Workflow triggers: Appropriate workflow starts
- Processing happens: Workflow processes the event
- Action taken: Email sent, task created, etc.
- Usage tracked: Token usage and executions recorded
No Configuration Needed
- Enabled by default: Workflows are always on
- No setup required: Just use Solo normally
- Works immediately: Start working right away
- Optimized automatically: Solo handles optimization
Usage Tracking

Limitations
Cannot Be Disabled
- Default workflows are core functionality
- Required for Solo to work properly
- Cannot be turned off
Cannot Be Customized
- Workflows are fixed
- Cannot modify workflow logic
- Use custom workflow tools (such as n8n) for customization
Limited to Solo Features
- Only uses Solo's built-in features
- Cannot integrate external services directly
- Use custom workflow tools (such as n8n) for advanced integrations
When to Use Custom Workflow Tools
Consider custom workflow tools (such as n8n) if you need:
- Custom integrations: Connect to external services
- Advanced logic: Complex workflow logic
- Full control: Complete control over automation
- Existing workflows: Have workflows in your tool already
See Custom Workflow Tools for details.
