Getting started with Solo Work
A capable team. Your direction.
Short narrated walkthroughs to help you reach your team, give them a useful goal, and follow their work. Watch any time; setup and useful work never depend on watching a video.
These walkthroughs use representative screens with fictional people and results, and AI-generated narration. Your team, settings and available actions may differ.
1. Meet your team and reach them

Welcome to Solo Work. You are the owner: you set the direction, choose access, and make the important decisions. Your team is ready. Let’s show you how to reach them.
Your Solo address is your team’s front door. Send it an email from the exact address you verified at signup to direct your team. Mail sent here is separate from your personal inbox.
Want your team to reach you when something needs your attention? Open Account, add and verify your owner phone, then choose your contact permissions. It’s optional. A business line is a separate setting.
You can start right here in chat. Tell the team what you want to achieve and what needs your approval. One useful outcome is enough to get going. You can explore the rest as you need it.
2. Give your team a useful first goal
Start with an outcome and clear boundaries, then refine the draft. About 66 seconds.

Start with an outcome. For example: help me shape a clear service offer and a practical first week plan. You don’t need a perfect brief. A little direction gives your team somewhere useful to start.
Now add some context and a boundary. I help small businesses organize customer requests. Draft the plan here, and ask me before contacting anyone. That tells the team what to work toward, and where to pause.
Your team can turn that direction into a draft, then ask for the details that matter. Read it, correct anything, and keep the conversation moving. This is an illustrative example, not a result we created for a real customer.
Open Work to follow progress and review results. You can refine the goal as you learn. When an action needs your decision, you choose whether to approve it or ask for a change.
3. Follow work, decisions and credits
Find progress, review decisions, and understand usage. About 61 seconds.

Work brings your team’s progress and results together. Open an item to see its status and what’s been produced. If something is waiting or blocked, look for what it needs next.
When your team needs a decision, open the request and review the details. Ready to proceed? Approve it. Want something different? Ask for a change. A draft alone doesn’t mean an external action has happened.
You can check your credit balance and usage details as you explore. Different work can use different amounts. The numbers in this walkthrough are examples, not a price promise.
Come back to chat with your next outcome. Add tools or a phone when they’ll help, and choose the permissions yourself. A little context, a clear goal, and your feedback give the team a useful place to start.
